lyrics
Gaze upon a legion below,
A peasant army of the chosen soul,
They march forth through rivers of scum,
Burning bodies under blackened sun.
One Breed,
One Blood,
Through death no mortal could,
Abide by the sovereign law,
And face judgment under majesty’s claw.
Glorify,
Illuminate,
Immortalize,
For the queen, judge faith.
Bow down,
Follow,
Kneel to,
The Matriarch of Slime
Dead souls, bodies are weak,
Men blinded by the goal they seek,
The brutal queen rules this realm,
Her great power leaves men under spell,
One crown,
One creed,
Unified in slime they bleed,
Armies do what need to be done,
Eternal power of the chosen one!
Glorify,
Illuminate,
Immortalize,
For the queen judge faith
Bow down,
Follow,
Kneel to,
The Matriarch of Slime
...serve...
Blinded,
Speechless,
Servants,
All bound to the crown!
And follow
For her we are one,
Do not betray

OMG, late to the party but this is some of the best occult infused doom stoner tackle I've ever heard. Reference points include Sabbath (obvs), especially with the Ozzy-esque vocals but there's also the melodiousness of early Heep mixing with a more contemporary occult rock sound. It starts in the 70's and makes it to the present day. The riffs are huge but it's their way with a hook that elevates this from your average doom/stoner fare. Very wonderful indeed! egg-magoo

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
